Amelia Tan

Amelia is a paediatric occupational therapist who believes that every child can reach their full potential with the right support. With more than a decade of experience in special education settings, she has supported children with a wide range of developmental needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and physical and multiple disabilities.

Amelia holds a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from Monash University. She specialises in supporting children with sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor development, handwriting, and attention challenges.

Amelia adopts a child-led and strengths-based approach in her practice, believing that connection and rapport are key to understanding each child's needs. Drawing on her experience working with families, Amelia understands the challenges and concerns parents may experience while supporting children with additional needs. Her goal is to empower children and families with practical strategies and skills that can be applied beyond therapy sessions.

Beyond her clinical work, Amelia has conducted training sessions for teachers, parents and professionals. She has also been involved in curriculum design and co-led the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Committee to develop the school's SEL curriculum and implement school-wide practices to strengthen support for students.
