Cindy Lim

Cindy has close to a decade of experience teaching preschool children in diverse learning environments, supporting children from different cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of developmental needs. She has worked closely with children who face challenges such as ADHD, learning delays, and difficulties with attention and self-management, always tailoring her approach to help each child feel confident and included.

In addition to her classroom role, Cindy serves as an Inclusive Coordinator (ICO), accredited by ECDA. In this capacity, she advocates for children with specialised learning needs and guides shadow teachers to provide effective support during daily routines. Parents appreciate her ability to bring together teachers, families, and support staff to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Her passion for early childhood education took root through her volunteer experience at a special needs school, where she facilitated art sessions for children with diverse learning needs. Witnessing how creativity could help children communicate, build confidence, and connect with others ignited her commitment to supporting their growth and development. This formative experience shaped her belief in the power of art and play as meaningful tools for learning, self-expression, and social-emotional development. Motivated to make a greater impact, Cindy pursued a Master of Education in Early Years, deepening her understanding of early childhood development and strengthening her expertise in supporting young learners in specialised educational settings.

Cindy is trained in using storytelling, play, and art-based strategies to make learning fun and meaningful. She believes that children learn best when they feel safe, engaged, and inspired, and she is passionate about helping them develop positive character traits and a lifelong love of learning.
